Welcome to Spickard's Signs of the Times Website. Prophecy is generating more interest than ever before... yet the Bible predicted that this would be the case. This  phenomenon is occurring because spiritual knowledge will exponentially increase before the Return on Christ... just as "natural knowledge" has been and is yet, increasing now (Daniel 12:4). Sir Francis Bacon, nearly four centuries ago, predicted this same trend along with Sir Isaac Newton, because of their understanding of the Prophecy in Daniel. Moreover, freak weather, devastating earthquakes, hurricanes, ongoing climate changes, collapsing confidence in political leadership for their lack of vision and growing kleptomania (tax, spend, spend, tax, and inflating fiat currencies to confiscate what wealth the people have left), the continuing assault on moral values (now termed "traditional values" by the controlled press), and the specter of endless war, among other threats, has undermined the faith of the average person in their institutions and their future.

This  increasing  interest in  Prophecy  has reached new proportions as the challenges and fears of the Present Age has brought us to the precipice of destruction and evoked pathos for what is next for the human race. Yet, there IS no shortage of Prophecy teachers and ministries. This interest in Prophecy has not been lost with what Christ termed the "Cosmos," i.e., the Order, or System that was in His Day, and translated as "world" in our Bible texts. Indeed, many of today's Bible Prophecy teachers are products of this System. Nearly all are deceiving the masses. They are promulgating what the System wants the populace to believe. Of course, the "Cosmos," or System, is controlled by the "Aeons," or "Archon," which the Apostle Paul described in the Ephesian letter (2:2), as "spirit powers," or "power of the Air" (KJV), subject to Satan, the Evil Entity and Force controlling the existing world order. A Brother Glenn A. Cook, in 1913, prophesied of this phenomenon. He stated that there would be a  "great mass of prophecy teachers," who are NOT genuine believers in Christ. Cook predicted that these "teachers" would deceive the people by getting them to be  "Kingdom-minded," without real conversion to Christianity. This is exactly what has happened! Millions of evangelical "Christians" are sitting on their hands, awaiting a fictional rapture, electing "conservative" politicians to uphold godly standards for them, but not fulfilling the Great Commission and Christ's words to "occupy till I come" (Luke 19:13, i.e., "teaching and preaching"...see margin). To be sure, these simple folks are making these prophecy teachers immensely wealthy. For instance, Tim LaHaye, of the Left Behind series, who was originally financed by the Reverend Moon of "Moonie" fame, has accumulated upwards of $100 million in putting out such theories. Brother Cook foretold that these false teachers would do a "great work."

But the real work is just ahead. That work is to call out a Remnant of believers to be sealed as the True Church before Christ returns ( Ephesians 5:27; Revelation 14:6; James 5:7-8), to set up His Kingdom as prophesied of in the Scriptures... Are you a part of this "Little Flock" that Jesus promised to place in His Kingdom (Luke 12:32) ?

Sir Francis Bacon: He said,
"Nor should the Prophecy
of Daniel be forgotten, as touching the Last Ages of the World,...clearly intimating that Prophecy and the
...Advancement of the Sciences are destined,...by Divine Providence, to coincide in the Same Age !¨

Brother Glenn Cook : He spoke and
prophesied of the increase of interest in Prophecy in our times in his
"Azusa Street Meeting" gospel tract. This  tract  was
published over 90 years ago, in 1913.
